A couple of things to do in Dallas:
1) I'm going to be performing with
ComedySportz-Dallas on Saturday, November 10, 8pm, and Friday, November 16, 8pm. They do an improv comedy show similar to "Whose Line", and it'll be tons of fun. CSz is located less than a mile from the hotel.
2) For hockey fans, the San Jose Sharks play at the
Dallas Stars on Wednesday, November 14, at 7:30pm, and I'm trying to get a group to head out to the American Airlines Center for the game.

Food in Dallas:
I have the beginning of a wiki page (using mediawiki that lets the columns be dynamically sorted, which is why I haven't moved the data all over to here) for dining in Dallas:
Food in Dallas
Events and sights (please edit/add to this list):
Dallas Official Visitor Site - Meta: Lists provided by the city itself
- Dallas Aboretum - Botanical garden
- My wife and I went here on Saturday. You probably need a car to get there quickly. The arboretum is very scenic and interesting. We enjoyed it a lot. I would recommend that you bring your own lunch. Outside food is permitted. Also, they are running an interesting exhibition about chocolate that will earn you bonus points with your wife!
- Dallas Symphony Orchestra - The scrolling inset near the bottom of the page lists a few events for the week of LISA'07
- Dallas Museum of Art - Reasonably wide collection, and the Nasher Sculpture Gallery across the street should be included as well
- My wife and I enjoyed our visit to the Dallas art museum. They have a large, eclectic collection. We liked their cafe. The food was delicious, modern, well portioned, and a good value.
- House of Blues - Dallas - Unfortunately, LISA week looks to be strangely devoid of concerts there
- Main Event - Pool/LaserTag/Bowling/etc
- SpeedZone - Racing/Miniature Golf/etc
- Six Flags - Large fun park with roller-coasters and more
- Dallas Aquarium and Zoo
- GayDallas
